Your self-tan results should last approximately 7-10 days.
Other great tips to keep your tan looking amazing is to:
- limit time in water
- avoid scrubbing/rubbing your skin
- shaving, waxing
- hot saunas / steam rooms
- avoid any other form of skin exfoliation.
Shower, Shave & Exfoliate from head to toe with our Beach Babe

Dry well. Apply Moisturizer to Feet, Hands, Elbows and Knees.
Find somewhere with good lighting, in front of a mirror. Being
able to see where you are applying will ensure you have covered all areas and
rubbed it all in.
Shake bottle well and apply mousse directly on our tanning mitt to
apply.
Start with legs and work your way up the body in a circular motion
covering skin evenly.
Check in the mirror to ensure you have no bare spots!
Quick Luke-Warm showers, using shower gels and not bar soaps.
Lots of moisturizer after each shower and again before bedtime.
We always say;” Less Water/More Lotion!”
Any kind of lotion is good if it’s not medicated, too oily, or an
exfoliating lotion.
Our formula is made for sensitive skin, so it’s perfect to use on
your Face.
After tanning your body, your Face should be tanned last.
Using the left-over product that is still on the mitt will work
fine for your face, or you can add a little more if needed.
My favorite way to Tan my Face, is to add a small pump of the
Tanning Mousse to my regular Moisturizer. It’s like tinting your Moisturizer,
blending flawlessly into the little creases of the face.
You can definitely leave your Sugar Sand Tan Mousse on as long as
you’d like. Some people prefer to sleep with it on overnight!
You can also apply before going out too! Will not mess up your
clothing!
Just be careful not to get wet or sweat! Stay cool and dry for the
first 8 hrs.
This formula sticks to you and not your sheets! Yay…keep your
sheets clean while tanning!
My favorite way to tan is in the morning…Apply…dress and go! I just keep getting darker all day!
You can shower in 8 hours for darkest tan.
You can shower in 4-6 hours for a light to medium tan.
Our tan will be at its darkest level in 8 hours. That’s my
favorite way!!
Even at the darkest level our Tan is still very natural looking
for all skin types.

Sugar Sand Tan is easy to apply. The mitt is good quality to apply the product. The mousse is light and applied easily, no odor and exceptional color. Nice bronze sun kissed tan not an orange or yellow glow. A bottle lasts for quite a long time. Thank you for a great product.
